Language Outreach

We want to use the learning side of LangGuessr to promote minority languages which other gamified language learning services (such as Duolingo, Clozemaster and uTalk) would be unable to due to the resources involved - as our learning system requires minimal resources to set up.

All we would need a list of sentences in the target language - at least 1,000, although 5,000-10,000 or even more would be ideal - with translations into English, or failing that into another European language.

The sentences would need to be broadly representative of the language as a whole - i.e. not based on technical documents or other specialist material - and we would need to have the legal right to use them in LangGuessr.

If you think you can provide this kind of resource, or know where one could be found, first check whether this language already has a large number of sentences on Tatoeba and then, if not, get in touch with us at langguessr@gmail.com. We are particularly interested in hearing from charities and organisations working to support minority languages and communities.
